Red Bull Air Race will be held from the very first time by the garden city which is built by the rainforests present in Malaysia. Putrajaya is the modern city that will be welcoming this grand event this year. The general manager of Red Bull Air Race, Erich Wolf, mentioned that the runway was the very first one that was constructed onset and this would be very thrilling for the pilots as well as the viewers. There are in total 13 hangars which are constructed by the circuit especially for the championship.
The president of the Putrajaya Corporation, Tan Sri Aseh Che Mat launched the provisional runway. He was the organizer of the venue and said that they were extremely proud on having prepared such an excellent runway only for the Red Bull Air race Championship.
The only flyer of the country for the race is Dantuk Halim Othman, who will be competing in the Red Bull Air Race, said that the most serious situation that had occurred would also disturb the attentiveness of the pilots mainly of those who are not acquainted with the weather conditions prevailing in the nation.
He mentioned that the extreme weather will definitely raise the temperatures of the cockpits and that of the engines as well. This might lead to the pilots losing there focus and becoming tired as it is said by Othman to the reporters during the runway launch for the Air Race Championship in Precinct 5.
According to Dantuk, in order to avoid dehydration due to the excessive heat the pilots must drink large amounts of water. He was also undergoing the training sessions and mentioned that there were 10 such participants who were affected by the extremely hot weather during their training phase. But it would have similar impacts on all the pilot as it is said by Nigel Lamb from Britain.
